  All of us wish to head to the islands at some point in time. If you’re planning your next holiday to an island, we suggest you think about Fiji. It is an island country in Melanesia, a part of Oceania in the South Pacific Ocean. It lies about 2000 km north-west of New Zealand. With approximately 322 islands, the most important islands are Vanua Levu and Viti Levu. An archipelago in the South Pacific Ocean, it also surrounds the Koro Sea which is about 1300 miles north of Auckland, New Zealand. It has a complex geologic history. The Vanua Levu has an area of about 5,540 kms and Viti Levu has an area of about 10,000 kms.  The Vanua Levu is divided along its length by a mountain range with peaks rising to more than 3000 feet.
