But for An Vo , it was climacteric. In 2019, An found herself at one such crossroads. Her eldest son had been diagnosed with lissencephaly (a rare neurological condition that demanded more of her time and care) and at that point his health was declining significantly. She was at the peak of her corporate career. But suddenly, her priorities shifted, and walking away from her career wasn’t the answer. Nor was sacrificing her family’s needs.
